Refund Policy
Last updated: July 2026
1. Overview
Fawz offers monthly and annual subscription plans. Fawz is an independent software product.
Paddle.com Market Limited acts as Merchant of Record for all Fawz transactions. Paddle is the seller of record, takes the payment, and holds the funds — so every refund is issued by Paddle, back to the original payment method. We cannot refund by bank transfer, credit, or any other route, and we will never ask you for card details to process one.
All refund requests are therefore subject to Paddle's buyer terms in addition to the policy below.
2. 7-day satisfaction guarantee
If you subscribed to a paid Fawz plan and are not satisfied within the first 7 days of your first paid subscription, you are eligible for a full refund. This applies to both monthly and annual plans.
This guarantee applies to first-time paid subscribers only. It does not apply to plan upgrades or renewals.
3. After the initial window
After the 7-day initial window, we do not offer refunds for unused time remaining in a billing period. On an annual plan the billing period is the full year, so cancelling part-way through does not produce a partial refund — your access simply continues until the year you paid for ends.
If you believe you are owed a refund outside of this window due to a technical failure or exceptional circumstance, submit a request via the contact form and we will review your case individually.
4. A refund does not cancel your subscription
These are two separate actions, and this is the one thing on this page most likely to catch you out.
A refund returns money for a payment already taken. It does not stop future payments. If you are refunded but your subscription is still active, it will renew and charge you again on your next renewal date.
So if you want to stop paying, you must also cancel — from your dashboard under Billing, or by asking us to do it. If you tell us you want a refund AND to stop using Fawz, we will do both; if you are unsure, ask, and we will confirm exactly what we have done.
Your access is not withdrawn at the moment a refund is issued. It ends when the subscription itself is cancelled, at the end of the period you paid for. We would rather leave you with access you have already been refunded for than cut off someone who is still a paying customer.
5. Overage charges (Scale plan)
On the Scale plan, requests beyond your 5,000 requests allowance are processed and metered as overage at $0.02 per request. Overage is charged shortly after the billing period in which it was used, and we email the organization owner a receipt showing the number of requests and the amount.
Because overage reflects work already carried out on your behalf, it is usage-based and is not covered by the 7-day satisfaction guarantee.
Requests that were refused because a plan limit was reached are never charged. Refused requests are recorded separately from billable ones at the moment they happen, so a refusal cannot later be re-read as a charge — including if you upgrade afterwards.
If you believe an overage charge is incorrect — for example it does not match the usage shown on your dashboard — contact us and we will investigate and refund any amount charged in error.
6. How to request a refund
To request a refund, use the contact form at fawzapp.com/contact and select "Refund request" as the subject.
In your message, include:
- Your account email address
- The reason for your refund request
- The date you subscribed
We will respond within 72 hours to confirm receipt and initiate the process with Paddle.
Because Paddle is the Merchant of Record, you may also contact Paddle directly using the receipt they emailed you. Going through us is usually faster, but you are not required to.
7. Processing time
Refunds are processed by Paddle in accordance with their standard refund procedures, typically within 5–10 business days. The time for funds to appear in your account depends on your bank or card issuer.
8. Subscription cancellation
You may cancel at any time from your dashboard under Billing. When you cancel:
- Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- You will not be charged again after that date.
- No credit or partial refund is issued for the remainder of the period, which you keep in full.
See section 4 for how cancellation differs from a refund.
9. Card disputes and chargebacks
If something looks wrong on your statement, please contact us first — we can usually resolve it faster than a dispute, and if we charged you in error we will refund it without argument.
If you do open a dispute with your bank, it is handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record.
10. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of your country of residence, including any statutory right to cancel or to a refund. Where those rights are more generous than this policy, they apply.
